Acquisitions or Sales of Property
Acquiring or selling real estate or other assets carries with it a number of underlying issues that may not be apparent. For example, is there a guaranty of title, is the title clear of potential clouds, what is included in the sale, such as mineral rights, are there rights of way or servitudes affecting the property, is there proper access to the property, are there encroachments, do you have a first right of refusal to repurchase the property if it sold by the purchaser? These are just a few of the issues that may affect the acquisition or sale of the property.
